Quick Rules

All holes are Par 6.

Fairway (Light Green): Grants +1 to your roll distance. Shoot through trees.
Sand (Tan): Subtracts -1 from your roll distance (minimum 1).
Trees (Dark Green): Blocks shots unless starting from a Fairway.
Water (Blue): Cannot land here.
Putting: Exactly 1 space distance. Roll defaults to 'P'.
Mulligans: 6 total. Tee-off rerolls are free (0 strokes taken).

How to Play

Welcome to Paper Golf! Here is the quick rundown:

🎲 Roll the Dice: Tap 'Roll' to see how far your ball will travel.
🎯 Aim your Shot: Tap one of the glowing yellow dots to hit the ball.
⛳ Terrain: Fairways (light green) add +1 distance. Sand (tan) subtracts -1 distance.
🌬️ Wind: Watch the red flag! The wind will push your ball in the air, so compensate your aim.

Welcome to version 2026.7.29 🚀

🏁 Leaderboard Flags: Scores on the Daily and Random leaderboards now show a country flag next to your initials, based on the same guess used for the online player count.
🐛 Birdie/Eagle Math Fixed: Sorry about this one — a bug meant every Eagle was also secretly counting as a Birdie, so your Career Stats could show more birdies + eagles than holes you've actually played. It's fixed now. If your numbers still look off from before, open Stats & Achievements and tap "Birdie/Eagle/Holes counters look wrong? Reset them" at the bottom to zero them out and start fresh.
⌨️ Keyboard Controls: Playing on a computer? Hit Space to roll (press it again to reroll) and Ctrl to putt.
🌍 Players by Country: Tap the player count in the top corner to see a live breakdown of where everyone online is playing from!
